Domaine Faiveley Corton "Clos Des Cortons" Grand Cru (Monopole) 1.5L 2017 new-zealand All the grapes were destemmed
Description
All the grapes were destemmed and there was no pigeage (Goisot prefers to extract tannins gently and only from the grape’s skins rather than the pips)
Cabernet Franc adds spice to the wine
This tiny 3ha Riesling vineyard is planted on a unique white clay and weathered quartz soil
mainly growing in the sandy and gravel shot clay soils of the Eastern Foothills
richness with mineral and blueberry notes leading to a savoury and spicy finish that's nicely balanced and very easy to drink
