Please note that the enlarged veins on newest leaf are a result of stress & unlikely to continue if grown in appropriate conditions

Older leaves had some browning from touching the prop tub

Seed parent: Anthurium 'Black Velvet Indo Type'/ 'BVIT'

Advanced seedling displaying a really nice shape and texture

Anthurium dress RBC x carladress RLs1 • germinated seeds pack size:3 seeds Exceptional colouring on new emergent'sThe seed parent (dress x #ReverseBlackCherry) is near black with a clean shape and pillowy texture. Deep red abaxial veins and a red petiolar plexus that stays visible, plus red running through the adaxial veins. The pollen parent [(carla dress x pap RL s1) '2'] adds insane velvet, heavy texture and near black tones, with pink purple emergent adaxial veins. The goal here is just to see how dark we can go, heavy on the texture with strong red traits.
