Birka Viking tas Tarsoly Offerschalen (Blótbolli) when your book is fullThis bag is a direct reconstruction of a grave find from Rsta, Jmtland (Sweden), dating back to the 10th century. In addition, the design is based on similar finds from the famous Viking trading centre Birka (Sweden), specifically from graves 93B, 154, 716, 731, 855, 904, 943 and 956. These "type 3A bags" are known as "Birka Viking bags", although their origins actually lie on the Hungarian steppes. They probably came to Scandinavia as imported goods
